Port Jervis Line Blog

The Port Jervis Line is a commuter rail line operated by NJ Transit that connects northwestern New Jersey and the western Hudson Valley to the New York metropolitan region. It runs from Hoboken Terminal, with key transfer access to New York City at Secaucus Junction, and continues northwest to Port Jervis in Orange County. The line follows a historic rail corridor through a mix of suburban and rural landscapes, tracing river valleys and passing along the western edge of the Hudson Highlands and the Shawangunk Ridge. It serves as both a daily commuter route and a regional link between the metropolitan core and the western Hudson Valley.
